Our 3 pillars

Centuries of craftsmanship

Craftsmanship takes your oak project to the next level. We assemble the cabinets with mortise and tenon joints, adjust the shelves with serrated slats and fit the drawers with dovetail joints. In short, a bespoke project, made to measure, with details that make all the difference.

Versatile design

Oak projects designs your kitchen according to your personal preferences, in your favourite variation of the timeless style. For example, simple fronts combined with built-in appliances create a modern look. While handcrafted glass and ironwork, a retro cooker and antique workbenches give a nod to the past.

Whether you're envisioning a new space or seeking to transform an existing one, let's start a conversation. We'd love to hear from you

With great attention to detail and an eye for your practical and aesthetic requirements. With oak as the common thread, you can bring unity and balance to your interior and ensure a seamless transition between different spaces.

STONE
An ancient medium.

Stone, an ancient medium created by the pressure of layers of earth. Strong, often indestructible and widely used as a building material. Including flooring, where thick flat elements were pressed into sand. The stones were cut and sawn, giving each stone its own unique texture.
Stone floors were thick, sometimes up to 4 or even 8 centimetres, and very heavy. This was necessary to keep them firmly in place.
You can still find these stone floors in old buildings such as churches and castles. However, they are becoming increasingly rare and expensive.

STONE
We made it innovative.

We have developed a process that allows us to retain the unique look and feel of old stone floors, but with the ability to meet modern requirements.
The stones are only 8-10 millimetres thick and therefore lightweight. This makes them ideal not only for regular renovations, but also for places where weight is an issue, such as apartments and loft studios. The tiles have excellent thermal conductivity, making them ideal for use with underfloor heating.
Each tile is handmade and therefore has its own unique texture. Different colours are also available. And so are the joints.
The tiles are cast and pressed and then given a unique finish. An Oleofuse treatment gives the floors extra protection.

Amboise tiles; made by hand and versatile

Our Amboise tiles are named after the floor tiles found in the castles of the Loire Valley in France.
These Amboise tiles combine perfectly with the look of oak and are therefore often used in the development of oak projects.
These tiles, with their own unique texture, are available in a range of sizes from 30 x 30 cm up to even 90 x 120 cm and are still only 8-10 mm thick.
It is essential that the floor and the project match. Both in colour and layout. That is why we always make a floor plan that takes into account the dimensions of the entire room and the project that will be installed on the floor.

WOOD
Irresistible charm.

Oak planks that bear the traces of a hundred years of slow growth.

A growth that took place in sometimes erratic, sometimes prosperous conditions. A growth that has not been disturbed by man or machine, where only the elements have had their say. With this rough material, shaped by nature, Oak Projects revives a lost craft, in custom-made elements with grandeur.

From Amboise tiles, to old bricks and cobblestones

We do not only produce the large Amboise tiles.
Using the same production method, we make old bricks (5 x 20 cm), cobblestones (14 x 20 cm) and many other unique shapes that will enhance any interior. These smaller tiles make a wonderful combination with the large Amboise tiles. They are also often used in hallways.

PAINT
Another ancient medium

Although not as old as stone, paint and painting techniques have a long history. It was and still is used to decorate and protect walls and furniture.
We really enjoy working with lime paint. Not only because it is the most vapour permeable paint, which is important in older buildings, but also because lime paint has a unique texture. This texture reflects light richly and blends perfectly with oak projects and stone floors.
As well as manufacturing and installing our stone floors, we specialise in lime paint techniques to complete your project.

Contemporary comfort

As well as being beautiful, your project should be functional and ergonomic. That is why we incorporate Blum's intelligent solutions, such as hinges and drawer runners, for greater ease of movement and perfect damping. This allows you to effortlessly open and close even heavily loaded cabinets and drawers. We finish the surfaces with a special oil that preserves the natural look of the wood and is easy to maintain.

The environment

We manufacture our projects with respect for the environment. The wood is sourced from controlled production forests that adhere to strict rules of sustainable forest management.
The innovative cast stone mix we use to make our floors contains only environmentally friendly raw materials. The tiles are air-dried rather than fired. This saves significant CO2 emissions.
Finally, the paint we use is often lime paint or its derivatives. This paint is known to be the most environmentally friendly paint product with a CO2 neutral footprint.

Lime paint & plaster  techniques

Although we have over 30 years experience in painting houses and monuments, lime paint and lime plaster is still our speciality.
Using special painting techniques, lime paint and lime plaster can be applied to both walls and furniture. The finish is unique and greatly enhances the charm of a house.
Lime paint also has strong antibacterial and anti-allergic properties and provides excellent moisture control. Lime paint therefore contributes to a healthy living environment.
